World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The item upgrade lets players boost an item's gear rating up 700 points and also give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you take them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition some weapons come with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. This bonus can sometimes be greater than the damage that an upgrade can do on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For example, an +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it needs an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons can also change the stats of the base. This is generally a positive factor, but it could also have negative effects. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're exceptionally lucky.
The ability to upgrade armor items to improve their performance. For instance, if you have chests or helms, it will boost its defense base while a belt and gloves will improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it may reduce its value.
The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain when upgrading along with the values of these stats. This means that a weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However the 3% does not mean that it will be hit for 3 times less often, since it is an absolute number.
A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button that has arrows that circle in the item menu. This will reroll an item and change its statistics, but it will not reset the weapon's levels, or connect it to an account's status.
Armor
Making a few improvements to your armor could make a huge differences in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive boosts to poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, which makes it easier to navigate through tough terrain. The more defense your character is, the more value you can get from each point of health you have and it's crucial to improve your armor as often as you can.
To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them each of which requires you to complete a unique side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. You'll require anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a large number of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded to +20 defense, which means you can survive a raid with your comrades.
It isn't possible to upgrade armor like weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or the power of spells. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can unlock perks for your armor. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades to the weapon that you'll use to beat the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have a few upgrades to the armor on your chest and helmets to let you get around a few monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by the player, provide a temporary effect for a short period of time. There are five types of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.
Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount of XP. This can be obtained by making them on a table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the cost of upgrading changes depending on what type of potion you want to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level as well as its rarity.
To upgrade a potion simply right-click on it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI where you can choose the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they will yield when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.

Once a potion is upgraded, it won't degrade until you use it again, or break the bottle it is stored in. You can also rename the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.
There were a few changes to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for example have now a duration of zero, not the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item hover display. The potion table is now made of four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron drains the liquid and replenishes the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions, which are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can be added to lingering potions to extend their effect. The potion table has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added for instance, the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket can be described as a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. try these guys could also be an ornament or object that serves a function but isn't essential, like a Thimble. In some cultures a trinket is a way to express affection or friendship between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their status.
Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.
Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a brand new trinket. It can be done by players for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same level of base as the old trinket but it also comes with an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.
Once the old Trinkets have become no longer usable they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players and are an attractive alternative to gold.
In general players should upgrade their highest priority items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded then their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment that won't be replacing anytime soon (such as a ring or an cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player and they want to upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.
Once they have become useless trinkets are able to be upgraded to a greater level. The upgraded trinket will give you an additional bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, will cause the trinket to be destroyed unless it is salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades but still cheaper than buying a new one.
