It's The Good And Bad About Item Upgrade

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.

The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. However, there are many ways to acquire these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in the area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be added, as well as an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Items can be upgraded by adding  item upgrade  components to equipment and weapons. This gives them additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
